This Pump House Shrimp is named after the Pump House Croy which is on the Meikleour & Islamouth beat on the river Tay. Just below Meikleour House where owner and angler Claire Mercer Nairne tends to spend a bit of her free time fishing this fly with great success. The fly fishes well in all conditions and water levels a great pattern that should be in your fly box. We have tied it on a 10mm brass tube to give you extra weight on a shorter tube keeping the pattern the correct size.
