Bank Holiday Bliss

The mixed weather over the bank holiday weekend gave us some really good trout fishing.  The little bit of fresh water in the rivers really helped freshen things up and ensured better hatches and a little more flow in the rivers. We could have done with some more rain, but lets hope it comes soon. Regular client Joe had some really good fishing on the Suir and Tar, getting some good size fish on the usual set up with a dry and dropper. [gallery ids="3148,3147,3149,3150,3151,3152,3153"] Beginners Tatsu and Keiichi both from Japan but living in Dublin came to us to learn to fly fish for the first time. They had a crash course in casting and fishing techniques and did really well. On day 2 they were both on the river and doing really well.  Now fully geared up, both anglers should do really well with their new adventure into fly fishing!
