Matthew Ryan lands brown trout estimated at 6-7 lbs on the river Suir. Matthew Ryan (Andrew Ryan's Son) who is 11 years old and has been fly fishing since he was 6 captured this amazing fish on a nymph on the River Suir. The fish gave a serious battle and took him to the backing. Using his Hardy Zephrus 9ft 5wt rod he finally managed to land the fish with the aid of his bother David and sister Cara.
The smile says it all! After a long battle Matthew's arm was tired, but he said it was worth it to catch such a big fish!
