Great trout fishing!

The summer has come early! With temperatures reaching nearly 20C the past few days and with summer water levels the fishing has been fantastic. I was on the river yesterday with good friend and client David Anchell, and unbelievably fish were rising in the late afternoon. Even this early they were very picky and we failed to get any on a dry. However in the faster runs we picked up quite a few fish on small PTN flashbacks fished on the back of a Klinkhammer.
It bodes really good for the season to have such good fishing early in the year. I don't recall ever fishing dry flies this early in the season - while in short sleeves too!
