Casting in the Living Room!

I have been teaching people to fly cast for almost 20 years now and one of the questions I get asked at the end of the season each year is: where can I practice during  the winter.  Of course you can go out and fish in put and take fisheries, go out and cast on the grass, but how about being able to practice in your living room?
