Had a great day out with Ben Martin on Saturday. We just had some much needed rain. The rivers have been so low for weeks and fishing was really difficult. The trout were not very active and very wary of casting and leader. However with some rain on Friday night the river came up about 6 inches, and had a nice peaty color in it. The nymph and dry fly fishing was slow but we did well on streamers. Streamer fishing is one of my favorite ways of fishing as it is so visual when you see the fishing chasing the fly. We had lots of chases and pulls these are just a few of the fish we landed![gallery link="file" columns="4"]
