Course Dates
1 Day Beginners Course
Our 1 day course is ideally suited to those who have never fly fished before and would like an introduction to the sport. On the course you will learn - casting, tackle setup, how to choose correct tackle, safety, fishing techniques, and knots. Maybe even catch your first fish! Our courses are unique, we have a purpose built fly fishing facility - the only one of its kind in Ireland. A lecture room, with multimedia presentations, our own private lakes, private beats on the rivers Suir, Nire and Tar. Our instructors are among the most highly qualified in Ireland.
1 day courses commence at 10 am and finish at 4 pm.
Booking Details
Courses can be booked online or calling us. All courses must be paid for in advance. Cancellations must be at least 14 days prior to course to give us an opportunity to fill the space. Cancellations after this time will mean loss of course fees.
Course Location
All our courses are held at our facility in Clonanav, Ballymacarbry Co Waterford - E91XY44. Courses start at 10am and finish at 4.00pm
Lunch is provided at the casting ponds or on the river bank depending on which course you are on.
Please ensure to bring wet gear in case of rain.
