Spey Casting Course

Our last Spey casting course of the season was held today. What a tough day! The wind was unreal, and made casting difficult however 3 great guys braved it all. The river has come up about 2 feet and bodes well for fishing over the next few days. It is high and clear making it ideal for fly fishing. Our course today was great sport, but the water was running a little high to fish the fly. Casts covered on the course included Roll, Switch, Single and double spey and circle casts. Lets hope that the fishing improves after this rain and we get a much needed run of fish!
