The tapered leader consists of 6 ft. of hard nylon connected to 18 inches (approx. 45 cm) of 30 lbs TyGer wire leader. The connection between wire leader and leader is extremely strong thanks to hand-tied Albright knots. Whether targeting pike or tropical predators, this robust material holds up in all environments.
