The past few days have seen a huge improvement in fishing conditions here. The warmer sunny spells have improved hatches and warmed up water temperatures. The forecast for the next few days is for more settled weather conditions with warm sunny spells - this should really help hatches and improve the dry fly fishing.
Eric and Phillip Watters from Texas has some amazing fishing the last few days. The water was high, but has dropped back a lot the last few days, combined with more sunshine has brought on some hatches of Olives, Grannom and plenty of Hawthron.
The prospect for the next few days is excellent. The main river is still quite high, but is dropping. Despite the high water good numbers of trout a rising in the slower pools.
