Rain Improving Fishing

The showers during the last few days have helped the fishing considerably. The water temps have dropped and fish are more active.  The levels have come up slightly but fishing is still tough.  The heavy showers have helped to put some fresh water in the rivers, but we still need more rain. The forecast is for a lot of rain over the next few days- hopefully it will come!   Guiding has been busy the last weeks or so. Below are some images of Eric Wilwant and his son Kale.  They had some amazing fishing on the Anner during the day.  The fish were mainly caught using very small PTN nymphs using long fine leaders.
