This weekend we had a fantastic group from the ESB international fly fishing club. Water levels were low but we did have some drizzle and cold weather over the weekend which helped the fishing enormously. Mark Tolan had some really nice fish on the Nire using tiny nymphs and very fine leader. For the past few weeks fine tippet down to 7X and 8X has been the order of the day.

Damian Downey had some really nice fish too with one fish reaching 1.5lb. The entire group really enjoyed sight fishing for trout. With the low water we are targeting the larger fish by sighting them first.

The weather had one a little colder and we are due some rain on Thursday and Friday.
