The Tournament Co-Poly Tippet by Soldarini is an incredibly strong, soft, and durable monofilament thanks to the latest Co-Polymer technology, making it particularly suitable for delicate fishing with dry flies, wet flies, and nymphs. Hardly any tippet material on the market has such strength relative to its diameter. It is extra soft and exceptionally strong, perfect for super gentle presentations to finicky fish, where you need to fish thinner than usual but still require high strength. The material has extremely high knot strength and is completely free from memory effects. It is also more stretchable than most other tippet materials, acting like a shock tippet to absorb the powerful strikes of larger fish. For us, it is the perfect material for fine dry flies or weightless nymphs and wet flies in thinner sizes. Thanks to its good abrasion resistance, it is also ideal for Euro nymphing.
