The bigger brother of the 8ft8 # 4wt this rod is ideal for fishing larger rivers and handling bigger flies. A 9ft 5wt is the do it all rod and this one is really good in all aspects. It will fish dries, large nymphs and even streamers and has the power to run over larger flies - but still the finesse to fish finer tippets. Configured in a 6 piece so the ideal travel rod and may be one of the lightest 9ft 5wt rods on the market at the moment
